Mototech offer a fixed price servicing menu for any Japanese or European multi-cylinder, V- twin or single cylinder motorcycles.

All service work is backed up by a 51-point inspection report, a copy of which is presented to you for your records.




Servicing costs for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha motorcycles:

Interim service £120.00
 Annual service
 (7.5k or 11k miles)


Superbike annual service
 (7.5k or 11k miles inc. R1,
 Fireblade, ZX10)


 Major Service
 14.5k or 16k miles
(includes valve  clearance check/adjust).


The above prices include all parts and labour for the service as specified in the service manual,
with the addition that we change the oil filter for every service. We think the small extra cost
is well worth the peace of mind ; why put clean oil through a dirty filter?
We fully meet or exceed manufacturer recommendations, plus we perform additional safety and maintainance
inspections to any known weak point of your bike.
As part of our standard servicing procedure, we also use a digital analyser to measure vacuum ie, carburettor and throttle body synchronisation.
This is also put to use for other purposes such as idle mixture setting on non-fuel injected engines, fault diagnosis in the cylinder and valve trouble etc.

Modern motorcycles are being produced using higher levels of technology as well as being engineered
more precisely. The levels of technology for example in engine management, fuel systems, ABS etc, makes it
easy to mis-diagnose a fault when most of the factors involved now have extremely narrow tolerances.

Because of the highly sophisticated engine management systems and fuel control systems,
previously tried and tested methods of fault diagnosis have now become less accurate and efficient.

Fault finding now requires a more detailed analysis of individual mechanical and electronic
processes to accurately understand the occurring or intermittent faults on the machine.

We use the latest motorcycle diagnostic hardware and software to collect and analyse information from your machine. We can simply plug our diagnostic equipment into your motorcycle and from the information relayed from your motorcycle about its engine and fuel mangement systems we can identify the fault,repair it, then erase the fault code from your bikes ECU.

To enable a more efficient service, we can also store your bikes history and fault codes, which we can recall as and when necessary.


We are also able to 'pair' factory immobiliser keys (HISS etc), for example if you need a spare.

We strongly recommed you keep a spare immobiliser key for your motorcycle. A lost key means a replacement ECU and lockset. These can cost way in excess of £1000....not to mention the frustration and inconvenience this causes!
